Welcome to The Texas Rebel Knights of the Ku Klux Klan website. The name Texas Rebel Knights of the Ku Klux Klan came from the people in Texas that rebelled against the Union on the side of the Confederacy during the onset of the Civil War. Thus we created the name of this organization "Texas Rebel Knights of the Ku Klux Klan". The Ku Klux Klan is a name of an American secret association of Whites united for self-protection and to oppose the reconstruction measures of the United States Congress, 1865-1876. The Ku Klux Klan was formed in 1865 in Pulaski, Tennessee. The objective was to protect the White's during the disorder that followed the Civil War and to oppose the policies of the North toward the South. The result of the Klan movement was more or less a successful revolution against the reconstruction and an overthrow of the government control in the South.
This organization was to protect and aid the weak and unfortunate, especially the widows and orphans of the Confederate Soldiers. The Klan protected members of the White reace in life, honor, and property from the encroachment of the newly freed black.. They defended White constitutional liberty. They preserved, protected and advanced the white race. They maintained peace and order and enforced the laws of Yahweh and he political social supremecy of the White Christian Race.
Our organization is made up of Officers and ordinary Klansmen. We also have an auxiliary group called Ladies of the Invisible Empire, LOTIE for short which began back in the 1920's era.
The name Ku Klux Klan comes from the Greek work Kuklos, meaning circle, wheel or band. This name was chosen because in it is contained some of the unique characteristics of the White (or Aryan) race. The wheel is certainly the best symbol of creativity: Hence the creativity of the White race, and the circle the symbol of unity. Kuklos thought about in this context simply means White Race Brotherhood. Ku Klux was simply taken from the word Kuklos and the word Klan was added meaning Family.
We are a Christian organization that stands for the preservation, protection, and advancement of the White, Caucasian, Anglo Saxon, Aryan Race.
